Alphabet III Matched stamps for sale.....

The Rose Red Penny Stars from 1857-1864 are Die II, watermarked Large Crown type I or II, perforated 14 or 16 (C11) on white paper. There is a range of shades from pale reds and rose-pinks through to deep rose red.

A matched trio of 3 Alphabet III plate 27 stamps all lettered QD -

One in deep red brown on deeply blued paper (SG29 C8(1)Cat £18.00), one red brown on white paper (SG37 C8a Cat £300.00) and one rose red perf 16 (SG36 C11 Cat £100.00)- £225.00 for all three posted signed for anywhere in the world.
